Contaminated Land Assessment

The project involved site works to assess the ground conditions, the spoil heaps on site and provide technical advice to the client. Materials had been imported to site without the knowledge of the land owner, these were required to be assessed for compliance with the permit requirements of the site.

Swan supplied a qualified contaminated land engineer to supervise the excavation of trial pits, using excavation plant provided by the client, to enable classification of the material
requiring assessment. Waste Classification samples were obtained and analysed at a UKAS laboratory.
