Construction Quality Assurance

Swan Environmental Services provided the Client with the Engineering Specification and Bund Design to carry out the project.

A Swan CQA engineer was present on site for the initial trial pad tests through to completion of the Bund. The Swan CQA engineer was responsible for examining the construction material, sourced from stockpiles on site, for suitability and correct specification along with the Geotechnical testing to ensure the project was adhering to the Engineering Specifications. A surveyor was provided to accurately record the volumes of material used and progress of the Bund.

Geotechnical samples were sent to an approved UKAS accredited laboratory for testing and all results were analysed by the Swan Environmental CQA engineer.
