Site Investigation

The works comprised of site investigation at an existing Petrol Filling Station. Swan obtained all services information prior to attendance on site and planned an investigation to take into account potential pathways for Controlled Waters and Human Health.

A window sampling rig with concrete coring attachment was used to drill 6 boreholes across the site, with 4 installed wells for groundwater monitoring.

All ground data was collected from site, along with SPT’s from the rig. Samples were taken from each location where there was a strata change or in the event of suspected contamination being encountered.
