Our Environmental Consultants have diverse experience across multiple disciplines including; Geotechnics, Contaminated Land Phase 1 Desk Studies (LCRM: Tier 1, Preliminary Risk Assessments), Phase 2 Intrusive Investigations (LCRM: Tier 2, GQRA Generic Quantitative Risk Assessments) through to Remediation Strategies, Discharging of Planning Conditions, Flood Risk Assessments, Environmental Permitting, Ecology, Acoustics, Materials Management Plans, Coal Mining Risk Assessments and Environmental Due Diligence.
Waste Management
Swan Environmental provide Construction, Design and Management services for a range of landfill operators throughout the UK. With a wide range of experience within the waste management industry we design and provide CQA validation for all aspects of landfill infrastructure required to ensure environmental compliance with the Environment Agency.
Swan can assist in producing a waste management strategy to aid development plans including the construction of new landfill cells; capping of cells during the lifetime of the landfill and the installation of gas and leachate management systems to allow ongoing monitoring and following subsequent closure of the landfill.
Petroleum
At Swan we can assist in all areas of environmental permitting and compliance required with regards to petroleum sites. Our Environmental Engineers are experienced in the supervision of the installation and monitoring of environmental boreholes.
We run a cost effective and efficient decommissioning service and have over 15 years of experience. We have worked on the decommissions of many different types of tanks in all types of geology, working on small to large scale decommissions.
We also conduct various maintenance works around petrol filling stations, with our fully trained UKPIA and CSCS accredited staff.
Safety and CDM
At Swan Environmental Services Limited, we are competent at all duties relating to CDM. We ensure that our staff are fully involved at each project stage to make sure safety is paramount and that projects are delivered on time and on budget.
We have the competency to carry out Principal Designer duties on construction, petroleum, environmental and civil engineering projects.
Planning requirements sometimes request Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMP) which we have successfully delivered to several of our clients.
Our Health and Safety Team are efficient at site audits, ensuring that businesses are complying to CDM 2015, making sure Health and Safety documentation is provided and up to a good standard.
Construction Works
Swan provide a small works construction service across the UK, in several specialist areas. We work on everything from small projects as main contractor, to large projects under a Principal Contractor.
We have dedicated forecourt teams that specialise in small maintenance items or larger tasks that need input from experienced professionals.
We offer bespoke services around sewage treatment, drainage and adherence to the various Regulations. Our work is anywhere from permit application to installing and commissioning systems.
